Value Engineering
This exercise is not intended to compromise the project but to enhance it. Although this is used as a tool to meet budgets, some recommendations may indicate higher initial costs to realize savings over the life of the building. Real value is the goal.
- Conduct value engineering workshop with owner, architect, and builder (if selected)
- Discuss building components, systems, square footage, and materials
- Make recommendations with cost analysis
